Help Burma Now!

Burma is suffering a major humanitarian disaster on an unprecedented scale. The situation in Burma is bleak and growing worse every day. Tragically and unbelievably, many survivors are still waiting for aid to arrive! They have no food, no clean water
and no shelter. There is a real risk of disease outbreak if clean water does not arrive soon.

Relief workers and survivors described scenes of horror as people huddled on spits of dry ground surrounded by bodies and animal carcasses floating in the murky water.Aid is starting to arrive, but not quickly enough. Huge sections of the Irrawaddy Delta lie cut off from the outside world. Up to a million people are thought to have been left homeless. The best way to help is through large international organizations with access to Burma, such as the International Red Cross, UNICEF, the International Rescue Committee and the International Medical Corps.

Help the victims by making a donation to one of the reputable agencies listed on the Network for Good site preparing supplies to be delivered as quickly as possible.

Please donate whatever you can. The people of Burma need your help.
