That is the question as we head into tomorrow's time trial. The race of truth, as time trials are known, should result in a major shake up in the standings. Cancellara, the World TT champion, is the favourite to win. I expect Valverde, Evans and Klöden (my podium picks) to all produce solid rides. The questions that remain are:
1. How much time will Michael Rasmussen lose and will the time loss translate into a loss of the Maillot Jaune?
2. On a day when Rasmussen needs to produce the best time trail of his life, will he be able to stay focused on the task at hand and not on the new doping allegations recently launched by some publicity hungry former amateur mountain-bike racer?
3. How much time will Vinokourov gain? Surely not enough to put him back into contention.
It should be a nail biting day!
