The price of living in paradise

I was woken by a 4.2-magnitude earthquake centered in the East Bay hills this morning. The quake happened at 4:42 a.m. with an epicenter 2 miles northeast of Oakland. Believe it or not, over time you get used to these mini earthquakes. They are one of the many joys of living in the Bay area.
