There is nothing fun about road rash. Despite being knocked off his bike by a dog crossing the road, Sandy Casar escaped with a small group early in the race and later out sprinted the group for the win. Cadel Evans took advantage of a break in the bunch to gain three seconds over Contador. I would have liked Michael Boogerd to win the stage. It would have been a nice win for the Belgain (it is his last season of racing) and his scandal plagued team. What's the deal with the dude's super white teeth? Kind of reminds me of Vera's ex-boyfriend.
Tomorrow is the race-deciding time trial. At the end of the stage, I think the standings will be:1. Evans
2. Contador
3. Leipheimer, although I would prefer Sastre

Linus Gerdemann from T-Mobile finished 36th in the General Classification and 7th in the young rider classification. That is in addition to his win in stage 7.
