Crits are for kids

The Metromint Giro di San Francisco was yesterday. I was sidelined with a shoulder/neck strain but was able to watch and cheer on a number of teammates and friends.

Highlights:
The first race of the day was the W4 race. Birgit (CRC)
was strong and aggressive and finished in the top 10.

Next up was was the W3 race. Vera (CRC)
and Bridgette (CRC)
represented and were active, on the attack or chasing down breaks throughout the race.

Robert (Safeway)
was super aggressive as usual. He chased down and reeled in a dangerous break in the Master's 1/2/3 race and finished in 11th place.

Virginia (CRC)
came in 7th in a large, super strong W1/2/3 field. Olivia and Jessica (Dolce Vita) both rode strong and were in the mix as well. Jane Robertson (Metromint) out sprinted two Proman women for the win. Sweet! It was a nice tribute to her Father who had passed away the week before.
