Ticket to nowhere

Sadly, my trip to Africa with my Father has to be postponed for a year. As a result, I now have 17 PTO (paid time off) days to use before the end of the year.

How should I use that time? What should I do? Where should I go? Current options under consideration include:

Visit friends in Spain and do some cycling and sight seeing.

Visit friends in London, but the exchange rate is TERRIBLE.

Visit my sister in Boulder, but somehow that does not sound very relaxing. Sorry Al! I think the time-off needs to be child free.

Go to Paris to eat, drink, shop and visit museums.

Search the web for a remote beach destination where I can lie on the beach under an umbrella, sip pina coladas and read all day.

Coerce my Aunt into lending me her condo up in Tahoe for a week of R&R and base building around the Lake.

Extend my Christmas holiday, but that would mean even more days in the basement on my trainer (yes Mom, I am bringing my bike AND my trainer to Boston in December).

Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Suggestions and partners in crime are welcome.

I TOTALLY want to be your partner in crime (but can't).

I love Spain for biking.
Paris for drinking.

I vote for those.

Oh, too bad Alicat as we could have some serious fun biking and drinking our way through Europe together!

Maybe that's what you need to do on your honeymoon next summer.
