Honeymoon in Boston

Not me. Don't worry.

This cute couple sat behind me on the flight from Boston to San Francisco.
They were married in San Francisco the night before and were flying straight to Boston for their honeymoon.

The couple had been to Boston a couple of years ago and had so much fun they wanted to come back and spend their honeymoon here. Not my first pick, but hey, different strokes for different folks.

The happy couple's honeymoon plans: Tickets to a Red Sox game and pizza at Bertucci's.

Lucky them given that the Sox are are on roll! They smoked the A's 11-6 last night and increased their AL East lead to three games over the Yankees who clinched a playoff spot by winning at Tampa Bay. The Red Sox are closing in on their first division title in 12 years.

Boston begins a four-game series against Minnesota at home tonight. The magic number is down to 2 -- any combination of Sox wins and Yankee losses and the Sox will have captured the division. My Mom scored tickets to the game so we'll hopefully be there to see the Sox clinch the series. Woo hoo!
