Deeply troubling

Eva Birath of Sweden began bodybuilding at 47. She attributes some of her success to genetics. Birath insists she has never used steroids or performance-enhancing drugs; she says she has been tested at all her events. And people think cycling has a drug problem!

actually, she looks kinda clean. she doesn't have any of the tell-tale signs of testy use in women. and she's still got a somewhat feminine shape. I'm betting she's as clean as possible in the high levels of that sport.

My Mom won a lunch with Ahhnold Schwarzenegger back in his Pumping Iron days. I tell you, those body builders are crazy MF's. The men I kind of get, but the women??

Do you think men find that attractive?

No. But I don't think she cares.

then again, do you think men find bike-racing women attractive? men, besides male bike-racers that is.

or maybe the better question is, do you think women find bike-racing men attractive? if in doubt, check hutchy's blog for the speedo shot.

Good point Lorri!! That picture of MH was HILARIOUS!

So let's think: low BMI, low body fat, ugly tan lines, large calves, large quads, emaciated upper bodies...

I think it all depends what people are into. One size does not fit all.

Luckily, not all cyclists are created equal as there is a difference between sprinters, hill climbing specialists, etc.

The good news is that there is something for everyone :-)
