My Dad made it through his surgery with flying colors and was back home in about 24 hours! It seems as if the artery was a little more blocked than expected and so they added a Bovine pericardium patch to widen the artery. Pretty high tech stuff. Other than the scar on his neck, which should disappear with time, you would never even know he had surgery.He is probably going to kill me for posting this photo. Sorry dad!
