Chaa-ching

That is the sound of charges racking up over the past month on visits to the vet. This has not been a good month from a money saving or canine health perspective.

Total vet costs for the month:
$490.08 - tooth extraction
$538 - x-rays, blood work, IV fluids and pain meds to diagnose a problem mid-July
$329.50 - evening visit to Pets Unlimited to treat a urinary tract infection
-----------
$1,357.58

YIKES! That's a lot of cash-O-LA. To think of all the bike parts I could have purchased with that money. Or, it could have bought me a cross bike. Oh, well... there is not a lot I would not do for my four-legged friends.

I am thinking about it. But from what I hear, the races are super fast and vomit inducing from the gun. I tend to prefer slow, drawn-out, prolonged pain.
