You know you are tired when: -- Getting out of bed feels like an anaerobic workout
-- You wish your dogs could find a way to walk themselves
-- You start thinking this will be the last season that you race
-- You look forward to your training ride being over before it has begun
-- You are overtaken by geezers on the street while out picking up lunch
-- You notice hills on your regular training ride that you never noticed before
-- Frozen burritos become the best dinner choice since they only take 3 minutes to prepare
-- You push 1 on the elevator in the lobby when you need to go up to the 31st floor and wonder why the elevator does not arrive
-- You don't have the energy to return phone calls or respond to emails from friends
-- You run out of interesting things to write about on your blog and end up regurgitating cycling news
-- All you can think about is lying on the beach and doing nothing
I don't know how I am going to survive Patterson Pass on Saturday if I don't get some sleep.
