Too good to be true

This is what I am going to do to the man at AAMCO:
I am starting to get this sinking feeling that the guy at AAMCO (as suspected) lied to me and was trying to sell me $2,425+ of parts and service that I don't necessarily need! You see, places like that prey on ignorant young women.

According to the dealer, the AAMCO repair advisor did not list the fault codes and the dealer needs to regenerate the fault codes. To assist in this process, I had to fax over authorization for an extended road test so that the technician can drive my car this weekend. So keep your eye out for some guy doing donuts in front of the Bellagio in a silver wagon.

Apparently all transmissions have debris in the fluid. According to the dealer, telling someone that having debris in the fluid is grounds for overhauling the transmission is incorrect. Plus, the dealer said my transmission does not have delayed shift points. Yet another AAMCO lie.

So, who knows what is wrong with the friggin' car and if they will be able to identify and fix the weird surging problems. In the end I am probably going to end up paying a fortune for service and parts that are not covered under warranty.

My head hurts just thinking about it. I don't know whether to scream or to cry. I do think strangling the guy at AAMCO would make me feel better

READ MY EARLIER POST: NEVER EVER NEVER EVER take your car to Aamco! Zsa Zsa loved it... but she was getting paid to love them. Find a good BMW mech... H&B in Berkeley, Beck in Marin... even Sonnen would be better.

I hear and obey. At least I learn from my stupid-ass mistakes. Thanks lady.
