No more crashes!
Too many people seem to be going down lately. The latest carnage comes out of the women's Suisun crit race on Sunday which saw Jane Despas and some Vanderkitten girl go down hard and fast in a corner. Unfortunately, Virginia (CRC) was directly behind them and could not avoid the crash. Virginia seems to be ok, other than a few ugly bruises and some road rash, but Jane Despas may have broken her collar bone! That would be such a shame and a HUGE loss for the women's P/1/2 field as Jane is incredibly strong and aggressive. Best wishes to everyone who went down for a speedy recovery!

no road rash fortunately - just some bruises and scratches - like i got in a full on fight with my cat. I do hope the others are OK. Jane was up there in the cal cup - and a broken collar bone would be a crappy way to end the season.

bummer about Despas. she's not the most charming individual, but she sure as hell rides her bike hard.
i think we're about done with the crashes for this year.
