The crit monsters will be out in full force vying for the coveted stars and stripes jersey this weekend. I sure hope that the weather isn't too hot and humid for the peeps racing. This photo of Tina Pic from the women's race last years sends shivers down my spine.

Predictor-Lotto is allegedly interested in signing Levi Leipheimer. The team is "motivated in having a strong general classification rider to help Australian Cadel Evans." I am not sure that Chris Horner will be happy about that news since he was an excellent first lieutenant for Evans at this year's TDF.
Disco's swan song
Discovery Channel plans to send a star-studded team to the inaugural Tour of Missouri in September. Lining up for the team will be Contador, Leipheimer, Hincapie, Popovych and a few others. I am almost tempted to load up the car and drive half way across the country to see the race and bid adieu to the boys in blue.
